        What is Counseling and/or Psychotherapy?

The private practice today maintains a focus on marriage, family, and couple issues, forensics social work of court-related services, such as child custody evaluations and supervised visitations, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and documentation, expert testimony, psychotherapy, and addictions.

CRPSI/WOMACK COUNSELING provides Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to the general public.

Clientele includes adults, older adolescents, couples, parent/child, and families. Clients are also referred through Employee Assistance Programs. CRPSI/Beverly Womack is an insurance provider for many insurance companies.

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

A specialized, formal interaction between the mental health professional and a client (adult and older adolescent) in which a therapeutic relationship is established to help resolve symptoms of mental disorder, psychosocial stress, relationship problems, and difficulties in coping in the social environment.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENTS, INTERVENTIONS, COUNSELING, AND REFERRAL

I am a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) who assists individuals to develop an understanding of chemical dependency, problems, define goals, and plan actions reflecting the individual's interests, abilities, and needs as affected by chemical dependency problems.  Services may include the diagnosis of a substance abuse disorder, working with families, and assessing the level of referrals.

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK SERVICES

I am a mental health professional who is also a State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides services to restore or enhance social, psychosocial, or biopsychosocial functioning of individuals, couples, families, groups, organizations, or communities.  Clinical Social Worker's services include the application of specialized knowledge and advanced practice skills in the areas of assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation, case management, information and referral, supervision, consultation, and education.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) services can include adoption studies, home studies, and other court ordered services.  LCSW advanced clinincal skills are in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, conditions, and addictions, including severe mental illness in adults and serious emptional disturbances in children.
